WET WEATHER PROCEDURE
In
the event of wet weather the following procedure is to be followed by
all clubs hosting games.
MONDAY TO FRIDAY up to 5.00pm
Contact Football Far North Coast on 6625 1444 and advise that your
club’s home ground is closed.
Football Far North Coast will advise all visiting teams,
referees and the media, as well as updating the information on our
website at www.footballfarnorthcoast.com.au
AFTER HOURS – MIDWEEK FIXTURES
If
the home/host club’s ground is unsuitable for play after 5.00pm, it is
the home clubs responsibility to advise immediately all
visiting teams and referees of the ground closure by
telephone.Please also advise FOOTBALL
FAR NORTH COAST on 0438 215 593.
WEEKEND FIXTURES after 5.00pm on Friday
The
home club will be responsible for the following:
1.Advise
all visiting clubs of the ground closure immediately
by telephone.

2.Contact the Referees Appointments Officer immediately by telephone 0434 856 992.
3.Contact Football Far North Coast immediately
by telephone on 0438 215 593 and
leave a message advising of the cancelled fixtures.
FITNESS OF GROUNDS Refer “Fitness of Grounds”
(Competition Procedure 9 (e)) which states that ONLY the Zone shall have
the discretion to transfer a match to an alternate field.
